“I HAVE A DREAM” SPEECH…

Community members gathered at our MLK Monument on the South Ave. Circle in Westfield NJ, to listen to a recording of Dr. King’s famous speech from the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Come join the Dr. King Association of Westfield on Sunday, August 28th, 2022, at 6:00 pm to celebrate the anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom by listening to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech. MLK Westfield is hosting a listening event of this famous speech for community members at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Monument on the South Ave Circle (now the MLK Circle). The association hopes that listening to a recording of Dr. King giving this speech will reinvigorate our community to remember the need to push for racial and social justice, to reflect on how far we have come, and to recognize how much more work we need to do.
